Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth doing?

All furniture is worthy of reupholstering.

If it fits in with your lifestyle, its right for your space, has been in your family for generations or has sentimental value then it is worth doing. You’ll also be doing your bit for the environment by saving your furniture from going to landfill.

How much will it cost?

This will depend on the level of work required and the cost of your chosen fabric.

Whats the process?

You’re already on our website, so the next thing to do is make contact, either by phone, email or Facebook (check our contacts page). It would to speed things up if you could send pictures and dimensions (height, width and depth of both the frame and cushions, if appropriate) of the furniture you require reupholstering. We will then send you a provisional estimate.

The next step is for you to come to the workshop and chose your fabric, then we will give you a firm estimate which will include your fabric and labour costs. We then require a deposit and will order your fabric. Once received, we will put you on our schedule and provide you with a start date.

How long will it take?

We normally allow 10 working days from your start date to completion, although this could be slightly longer at peak times.

Can it be done insitu?

We like to have it in our workshop so we have everything we need to hand.

Can I supply my own fabric?

You can, but we prefer to supply it, as then we can guarantee the quality and that it meets current fire and safety regulations. That said, we are happy for interior designers to supply their own fabric as this usually comes direct from manufactures.

Can I change the style of my furniture?

We will try to accommodate and advise where we can, most things can be achieved.
